Mommy Daughter Time

Gabby and I are getting tons of mommy-daughter time, and I'm loving every second of it. Aaron has been going to school now for about 2 years, and is starting his most time consuming semester. He is in class Monday through Thursday nights directly after work until about 9:30. I'm so incredibly proud of all of his hard work! He'll be earning his first associates degree this December-he's getting there!! I know they miss each other while he's in class, but to see them when they are together is absolutely priceless! Aaron gets the best giggles out of Gabby:)

Gabby is doing wonderful! She's got her numbers down and she's starting to count things-sometimes correctly, other times not! She also has her ABC's down and is starting to identify letters.

She's so excited to be a big sister:) I don't think she totally understands, but it's fun to talk to her about it. Sometimes the baby is in her tummy, sometimes in mommy's, and every once in awhile-the baby's in daddy's tummy!! She did name her baby doll-baby sister!

Missing my baby!

Aaron and I have gone on quite a few trips over the past couple of years, and Gabby would stay with either my parents or Aaron's parents. Saturday, Gabby went to her Gaga and Papa Shockey's house to stay until Tuesday. Difference is, Aaron and I are in town. We're kind of at a loss in regards to what we should do with all this "down" time. Saturday, we went out to eat and to a movie. Coming home to a quiet house was just not the same. Sunday, Aaron had to work and I went to lunch with friends and did laundry. I've done some shopping today and I am getting some relaxing in! We look forward to Gabby getting to spend quality time with her grandparents, but we do miss her dearly!
